Delete individual records
Open KitchenEdgeVault, locate the relevant entry in Timeline or All Records, open its details and use the available delete action. Confirm only after checking the selected record.
Clear all local app data
Open Vault and select the clear-all-data option. Review the warning and confirm. This removes the app’s local tool records, photos stored by the app, notes, comparisons, settings and related local history. If you may need the information later, export a backup first.
Delete by removing the app
Removing KitchenEdgeVault from the device generally removes its local app container. iOS or device backups may retain a restorable copy according to your Apple settings. Manage those backups through Apple’s device and iCloud controls.
Support and request data
If you sent information directly to our support email, request deletion by emailing bangnetgal@bangnetgal.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” Describe the interaction and provide the email address used. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited records where law requires.
Purchases
App Store purchase history is controlled by Apple and cannot be deleted by Bang Technology Limited. Contact Apple or use your Apple Account privacy controls for those records.
Before you delete
Deletion is generally irreversible. Decide whether you need to keep tool profiles, maintenance history, photographs, voice notes, comparisons or settings. If so, export a local backup from Vault and confirm that the backup is safely stored before continuing.
How different data is handled
- Individual maintenance records: open the entry from Timeline or All Records and use its delete action.
- Tool profiles and related history: before deleting a tool, check whether its inspection, sharpening and comparison records are still needed.
- Photos and voice notes: deleting the related record or clearing all data also removes corresponding local content managed by the app.
- Reminder settings: disable them in the app or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.
- Exported files: copies already saved to Files, Photos, email or another destination are outside the app and must be removed there separately.
Backups, copies and restoration
Clearing local app data does not automatically remove records contained in device backups, iCloud backups or files that you exported. Manage those copies through Apple’s backup controls or the location where the file was stored. Importing an older backup later may restore records that were previously deleted.
How email requests are handled
We may ask you to confirm a request from the email address used for the relevant support interaction. After verification, we process the request within the period required by applicable law. Limited information may be retained when necessary for fraud prevention, disputes, financial records or legal compliance, then deleted or anonymised when that purpose ends.
Information we cannot delete
Apple controls purchase history, payment records, App Store download history and Apple Account data. Exported content that you shared with or saved to another provider must be managed directly with that provider.
